A little bit about me.

If the big banner didn't already give it away I'm Mike Donahue. I'm a professional photographer, graphic artist and web designer with nearly 20 years of experience.

For most of my career I have been a graphic artist. I have worked for companies of all sizes, from mom and pop shops to Fourtune 500. Designing everything from business cards and corprate ID's, to product packaging and advertisments for national brands.

In 2004 I decided to take a hiatus from my creative career and went to work for Habitat for Humanity for more than 2 years. As a Job Sit Supervisor I enjoyed working with many great volunteers and home owners during my time there. The passion of all the people involved inspired me to pursue my own passion again.

So since the start of 2006 I have been focusing on my passion, photography. While my galleries show a distinct emphasis toward nature and wildlife, I enjoy shooting almost anything. I have been working on some personal projects involving subjects like modern day ruins and body art to name just a couple.

I am available for hire to photograph products, portraits, events, sports, stock and archictural subjects. And all of my images are available for commercial licensing and/or as a fine art print. I also teach photography and lead photography workshops.

I am also the founder and organizer of South Florida Nature and Wildlife Photography Meetup Group. The purpose of the group is for amatuer and pro photographers to socialize, network, learn and go on photography outings.
