Co-leading Photo Tour to Triple "D" Game Farm in Kalispell, Montana - Nov. 15-18 2007

Triple D mountain lion Andy

For anyone who has never been on a game farm shoot before, you’re in for an experience that will leave you speechless. You’ll have the opportunity to get up close and personal with animals such as snow leopards, tundra wolves, Canada lynx, Siberian tiger, red fox, cougars and a whole lot more!

This guided photo workshop is scheduled for three days, November 15th - 17th, with an additional day, November 18th, reserved in the event of bad weather. Triple “D” will offer a minimum of eight photo sessions during the three day period, with instruction and assistance by two Triple “D” veterans. In the event that November 18th isn’t needed as a makeup day for inclement weather, Triple “D” will offer additional animal sessions at a reduced rate, or we can wander to one of many other locations nearby, including Glacier National Park.

Space will be limited to 10 participants in order to ensure plenty of in-depth time and discussion.

=============================================

• $1150 for the workshop (approximately a 40% savings from the standard daily rates)
• A $200 non-refundable deposit is required to reserve space in this workshop
• Payment in full due by Sept. 30
• Accompanying non-photographer fee of $50 per day

=============================================

Who’s leading this workshop? Mike Donahue and Michael Stockus are veteran nature and wildlife photographers who have been featured in regional exhibitions and published in newspapers, magazines, ezines and promotional advertising. Their teaching style brings the creative and technical aspects of photography together in a clear and understandable fashion.

Who should attend this workshop? Any photographer who has a real love and passion for nature and wildlife regardless of skill level. Amateurs will benefit from the lessons, tips and techniques given by both instructors, pros will enjoy the opportunity to exchange advanced tips and techniques with other pros, and all will enjoy a significant savings over the standard day rates of shooting as an individual.

What can I expect from the workshop? The workshop will begin on Wednesday night, November 14th, with a meet and greet, followed by an organizational meeting. Over the next 3 days, we’ll be photographing wildlife models in a variety of settings such as rocky outcrops, ridgelines and reflections in ponds. In between sessions, there will be plenty of topics covered which will be chosen based upon the group’s desires. Topics will include everything from proper equipment and setup for wildlife shooting, composition, exposure control and lighting, tips and tricks to photographing animals, among others. We’ll also be providing feedback through reviews and critiques of your work, so bring plenty of pictures!

What kinds of animals will I be able to photograph? Triple “D” has a wide variety of animals to photograph which vary over time. Here’s a list of the animals we expect to be available during our November 15-18 workshop.
