After a long and messy relationship with GoDaddy I felt it was time to try something new. So I decided to try 1and1 for my domain and hosting needs. It’s taken me a little while to get the site back up, but here I am. You may notice this version looks nothing like the old but and for good reason. Actually many good reasons. Not the least of which is the old versions was a static site, no CMS in the background to make updating easy. And as those that had visited more then once know, I never did really update it.
So today begins a new chapter. I make no promises but I do have all the intention in the world of doing better this time around. To that end I have opted to go with WordPress as my CMS and found a nice theme that I think will show of my work quite nicely. I also plan to begin writing articles on all aspects of photography and sharing the resources that I have found to be helpful in my own growth. I hope to add at least 2 new articles month from now on. I give all of you permission to abuse mercilessly if I slack off.
UPDATE 8/15/2012: Much of what we shoot as nature photographers is seasonal and so I’ve decided to back date many gallery posts to dates closer to the time the photos were originally taken. Since many of them revolve on around travel I thought it might help to know when they were captured. I haven’t decided how I will handle subject based galleries like wildlife, landscapes, etc., but I’ll keep you posted.
